Suppression of selection among broken-symmetry states by cross-correlated noises in double-well system
نویسنده
چکیده
Suppression of selection among broken-symmetry states has been found in doublewell system resulting from two simultaneous correlated white noises, one additive and the other multiplicative. Symmetry-asymmetry-symmetry transition is reentrant as a function of the additive noise intensity for small multiplicative noise.

Investigation of broken symmetry phases with long range order in strongly correlated electron systems is among subjects that have always been of interest to condensed matter scientists. In this paper we tried to study the existence of the 120 degrees magnetic spiral order, based on anisotropy in geometrically frustrated triangular lattices, using variational cluster approximation. We observed t...

We show that a double quantum-dot system made of diluted magnetic semiconductor behaves unlike usual molecules. In a semiconductor double quantum dot or in a diatomic molecule, the ground state of a single carrier is described by a symmetric orbital. In a magnetic material molecule, new ground states with broken symmetry can appear due the competition between the tunnelling and magnetic polaron...
متن کاملAndreev reflection in two-dimensional topological insulators with either conserved or broken time-reversal symmetry
We investigate Andreev reflection in two-dimensional heterojunctions formed by a superconductor in contact with a topological insulator ribbon either possessing or breaking time-reversal symmetry. Both classes of topological insulators exhibit perfect Andreev reflection, which is robust against disorder. This is assigned to topologically protected edge states. In the time-reversal symmetric cas...
متن کاملBroken-symmetry states in doubly gated suspended bilayer graphene.
The single-particle energy spectra of graphene and its bilayer counterpart exhibit multiple degeneracies that arise through inherent symmetries. Interactions among charge carriers should spontaneously break these symmetries and lead to ordered states that exhibit energy gaps. In the quantum Hall regime, these states are predicted to be ferromagnetic in nature, whereby the system becomes spin po...
متن کاملPartial Dynamical Symmetry as an Intermediate Symmetry Structure
Symmetries play an important role in dynamical systems. They provide quantum numbers for the classification of states, determine selection rules and facilitate the calculation of matrix elements. An exact symmetry occurs when the Hamiltonian of the system commutes with all the generators (gi) of the symmetry-group, [H , gi ] = 0. In this case, all states have good symmetry and are labeled by th...
